'Annual Day – 2018'

Annual day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performance but also achieve honours for their curricular and co- curricular achievements.

St. Thomas School Indirapuram celebrated its annual day with unprecedented fanfare on ,2nd November 2018. The chief guests of the day, Mr. Abu Mathan George IFS, OSD (Press Relation) Govt .of India graced the occasion, The function was presided over by his grace, Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios ,Chairman Rev. Father Shaji Mathews ,member of the managing Committee and the other dignitaries.

The event unfolded with the lighting of the lamp. The School Head Boy, Ravi prakash Mishra, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries, special invitees , teachers and parents.

HOPE – an informal school, where children from marginalized society get a chance to study, play and learn music put up a fabulous performance.

A healthy relationship is built on unwavering trust. To showcase this, the students of classes 1,2 and 3 brought out their latent talents through a heart throbbing enactment ’UMMEED’.

It was a moment of pride when the students presently studying in Class 10 were accorded with Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios award for their meritorious performance in academics as well as co – scholastics achievements.

Class X and XII toppers of the academics year 2017-2018 were rewarded for their academic excellence. Mrs. Shalini Thakur, TGT (social science) was facilitated with the best teacher Award for her magnanimous and commendable contribution.

Our Principal Mr. V.K kuriakose read the annual report of the school. He made the audience aware of the school’s achievement in academics and co- curricular areas.

Mother Teresa said “No religion is higher than humanity. If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other “Concertina –The Annual day Presentation 2018 woven around the theme ‘HUMANITY’. The students presented the astounding and eventful show.

The Chief Guest landed the vision and relentless hard work done by students and their mentor for presenting such a message oriented programme. The young thomasanians were much appreciated by the audience for their wonderful and awe- inspiring performance.

The entire show was compared by Amogh, Anna , Abhimanyu and Aarohi who really brought a sparkle to the day’s proceedings.

The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
