The St. Thomas group of Schools had its humble beginning in 1986 at Sahibabad in the premises of St. Thomas Orthodox Church. By the immeasurable grace of the Almighty, the St.Thomas Church Society could edify another temple of learning at Indirapuram as the extension of its education venture.
The dream came true in 2000 in the form of St. Thomas School, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The School got affiliated to the CBSE. In 2003 for the Secondary level and the CBSE granted the Senior Secondary status in 2005 (vide affiliation No. 2130572). The majestic school building, an architectural marvel, was inaugurated in 2005. The president of the Society is His Holiness Baselios Mar Thomas Paulose -II, the Catholicos of the East, and the Vice President is His Grace Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, the Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi. The overall administration of the school is vested in the Governing Board (an elected body constituted by the Society).
This is headed by the Chairman Rev. Fr. Saji Abraham,St. Thomas provides comprehensive education ,keeping in view the country's rich heritage & culture. It opens opportunities for the development of different facets of child personality.
Quiet impressive with the way the school has come up with a lot of resources while children can develop into responsible citizens. My best wishes to the Chairman, Principal and all Teachers
The school has grown wonderfully in this area fulfilling the aspirations of the local population.St. Thomas school will bloom to create new group of leaders to lead our great nation.
School holds in high esteem for the manner in which they have been upholding the principles of academic excellence and quality without compromising on compassion, tolerance and friendship.
It has been a privilege and honour to visit St. Thomas and be a part of the Annual Day function. Really proud of the achievements of the students in the academics and co curricular activities of school – adoption of Kaushalya village and Good Samaritan programme needs special mention.
