'Utsav-2014 – 'Health is Wealth'

On 12th September, 2014, St Thomas School, Indirapuram hosted the Inter-School Competition for the KG Wing, by the name of ‘UTSAV 2014’. The theme of the day was “Health is Wealth”. The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs. Nisha George, Principal, St. John’s Model School, Mayur Vihar Phase-1. The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Saji Yohannan, Principal Mr. V.K.Kuriakose, Vice Principal Ms. Shali Nair, Head Mistress Ms. Rachel Reji and other distinguished guests. 27 schools of Delhi & NCR actively participated.

The events were categorized as :

1. Little Picasso
2. Ad-Mad
3. Fashionmonger
4. Skit

The competition ‘Skit’ highlighted the sense of importance of protecting our health. Fr. Agnel School, Noida bagged the First Prize. Cambridge School, Noida bagged the Second Prize and Amity International, Vasundhara bagged the Third Prize.

In the competition FashionMonger, participants crafted jewellery with vegetables . Presidium Indirapuram bagged the First Prize. Indus Valley School, Noida bagged the Second Prize. St. Thomas School, Sahibabad bagged the Third Prize.

The tiny-tots displayed their flair for colouring in the event ‘Little Picasso’. DPS Indirapuram bagged the First Prize. G.D.Goenka, Indirapuram bagged the Second Prize. Modern Academy , Indirapuram bagged the Third Prize.

The last competition was ‘Ad-Mad’. Presidium Vivek Vihar bagged the First Prize. Presidium Anand Vihar bagged the Second Prize. Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar bagged the Third Prize.

The competitions were judged by eminent persons in their respective fields.Altogether the event was a grand success.
